Whale Shark Sharing Trip is a sharing trip to Saleh Bay (Teluk Saleh) in Sumbawa for swimming and snorkeling with whale shark. The trip departs from Lombok, overland via Kayangan harbor by ferry to Pototano harbor and drive through Sumbawa region, overnight at Labuan Jambu where the boat departs to the whale shark point at Teluk Saleh
The whale shark (Rhincodon typus) is a slow-moving, filter-feeding carpet shark and the largest known extant fish species. The largest confirmed individual had a length of 18.8 m (61.7 ft).[8] The whale shark holds many records for size in the animal kingdom, most notably being by far the most massive living non-mammalian animal. It is the sole member of the genus Rhincodon and the only extant member of the family Rhincodontidae, which belongs to the subclass Elasmobranchii in the class Chondrichthyes. Before 1984 it was classified as Rhiniodon into Rhinodontidae

Itinerary
Day 1: Meeting point > Kayangan Port > Pototano port, Sumbawa > Labuan Jambu, stay overnight at Aqila Villa/Transit Beach Front Villa
07.00 Am meet up time for Senggigi Square pickup point and for Lombok Epicentrum meet at 07.20 AM. Depart to Kayangan port by car about 2,5 hours’ drive.
10.00 Arrive at Kayangan port and then continue by public ferry to Pototano port in Sumbawa Barat.
12.00 Arrive at Pototano port, continue drive through Sumbawa Besar regency to Labuan Jambu. A long the journey you will see beautiful scenery of Sumbawa Island landscape.
17.00 Estimate arrive at Labuan Jambu, check in at your hotel and free of activities for the rest of the afternoon.
Day 2: Labuan Jambu > Teluk Saleh > Snorkeling > Labuan Jambu > Lombok
04.00 am you will be picked up and head out with the motorized boat to the Whale Shark point in Saleh Bay. Arrive at 6 AM, it’s the time for you to enjoy swimming side by side with whale sharks, the ocean’s gentle giants.
08.00 Leave the Whale Shark Point, back to Labuan Jambu and arrive at the hotel
10.00 Arrive at the hotel and continue with breakfast. After breakfast and having shower, check out the hotel and depart to Pototano port drive through Sumbawa Besar.
15.00 Arrive at Pototano port and continue by Ferry to Kayangan port in Lombok
17.00 Arrive at Kayangan port, continue drive to Mataram or Senggigi
19.30 Estimate arrive in Mataram or Senggigi
